Danny was very professional and made our special day better! The mood was a little tense (nervousness, jitters, etc) however, Danny's experience and sense of humor lightened the atmosphere up. His sample scripts were on point that it was hard to choose one for our ceremony and his responsiveness was quick whether it was through email or phone. We hired Danny as our officiant and also booked his platinum package that included him as a MC and DJ sound person with a sound tech for our cocktail hour and reception. We booked him almost a year out and he was communicative and professional the whole way through and made planning from out of state smooth. As far as an officiant, he was great and laid back, which is what we wanted for our ceremony. He got to know us pretty well which still personalized our ceremony a little bit. He also knew to step to the side at the end for our first kiss so he wouldn't be in the picture haha For the MC/ sound part of it i liked that he made us our playlist ahead of time so we can listen to it beforehand and tell him our likes and dislikes. Day of there was small technical difficulties but nothing that stopped or hindered our ceremony at all. Cocktail hour and reception hour went without a hitch and everyone really enjoyed themselves. He also brought along fun glowsticks and sunglasses and everyone had a fun time. Thanks for everything Danny!

Danny was great to work with he was easy to talk to and was so warm and welcoming. We were able to customize our readings to our preference and he added many great personal touches. We got compliments from our guests who thought that we were close friends he knows how to make it warm and personable and entertaining all at the same time! I would recommend him to anyone who wants to a modern and fun ceremony. Thanks Danny you are wonderful!

There were a few major things that went wrong with this officiant 1) they said my name wrong in the ceremony 2) they stated a part of our story wrong in the ceremony 3) they texted me an hour before rehearsal to ask if I was the couple that said they didn’t have to attend the rehearsal anymore (we weren’t) 4) we were told we would be able to see the script beforehand (which would have fixed issue 1 and 2) but this never happened 5) they were late to both meetings with us and the second meeting wasn’t even about what we were told it would be about (our story and them getting to know us). Also if you are going with them because you see catholic wedding know that there will be no rosary part, the bread and the wine is only for the couple and it is a piece of bread and cranberry juice.

Alicia-Marie, we are so sorry your experience with us was not what you had expected. We value your feedback and take it very seriously. A couple concerns: 1.) As far as your rehearsal, we believe that Danny was there and helped lead through the process. There was a location issue and I believe that’s why he phoned you an hour before. But, no matter what we take the blame here and apologize. 2.) As far as the Eucharist, we believe Danny informed you he could not give it but could give communion. He informed you he wasn’t a Priest. But, no matter what we take the blame here and apologize. 3.) As far as your other issues, we are so sorry for this experience and will make the changes to our process so this doesn’t happen again! We wish you and Keith nothing but the best! It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your BIG DAY!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our complete ceremony cost $250 and includes: No upfront deposit Initial/follow up consultations Personal writing of ceremony script Personal help with writing vows Day of officiating services **We are not a notary and cannot obtain your wedding license. As a couple, you will be responsible for obtaining your own wedding license through your respected County Office.**
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like the chance to get to know each other before the event. I can work with you through email/phone/text/Zoom.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Wedding Officiant for over fifteen years. I have done weddings from the smallest and quaint, at sunset on the beach. To the large and complex, with the bride and groom arriving on horseback. I have also been a public speaker, featured writer, featured blogger, featured podcaster for over ten years. I write and speak on such topics as leadership, marriage, parenting, finances, current social issues and other popular topics. I am a licensed and ordained reverend with the Universal Life Church.
