Albert is a delight to train with. He knows what he’s doing - he has a very deep understanding of mobility, nutrition and recovery, and seamlessly leverages that to help his clients achieve (or in my case, surpass) their fitness goals. He’s also introduced me to martial arts, which has done wonders for my confidence. As a personal trainer, he’s the complete package. You’d be hard pressed to find a better one in LA or anywhere else. All around great dude. 10/10 recommend to anyone.

Albert and I met swimming for UC Santa Barbara. In 2021 (a few years after graduating), Albert and I started working together. We started with resistance bands and body weight exercises, but as the year progressed running became the focus. In May I decided to sign up for the San Francisco marathon. As a life long swimmer, my joints, running muscles, and running technique required special attention. We created a thorough warm-up/warm-down routine that helped with all that and even mitigated some injuries along the way. Running a marathon was something I never considered possible prior to my improvements with Albert, and in large part to him I have that finishers medal.

Albert is the best personal trainer I’ve ever worked with. He is laser-focused on recognizing and adapting workouts to his client’s needs. He’s affable, diligent considerate and just fun to be around. He’s gotten me in the best shape I’ve ever been in and helped me recover from chronic pain I’d never be free of. He’s truly the best!

I've been seeing Albert consistently for a year and a half now. The programs he comes up with are excellent and cater to my body type and the goals I'm trying to accomplish. The programs are updated at a good pace and I feel I'm constantly learning something new while also challenging my body. I also feel stronger and healthier - it's a great complement to my personal workouts. I wanted to train with someone who pushes me, Albert does just that and keeps me on track... though sometimes I think to myself "careful what you wish for."

I've been training with Albert for a couple of months and using the app at the same time. The training with Albert is fantastic and I am already noticing the changes in my body. It is helping me to go beyond my limits and to be more aware of my body every day. The app helps me to be able to train the days that I don't go in with Albert. This is very good because I keep doing the same type of training. I'm really happy with Albert and the app.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    We offer training for the following - 1 on 1 personal training - Swim Lessons - Duet and small group training - Online Training - Hybrid (in-person and online) - Nutrition and meal plans All new clients will also receive a pair of FeiYue shoes for training. And all online and hybrid clients will receive an additional set of bands for at home exercise. We customize our programs based off your needs and goals.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    For new clients we will first conduct a fitness evaluation to determine your fitness level and if there are any current issues which need to be addressed. After that usually for the first 2-4 weeks we will be working on corrections for your form and getting a strong baseline of conditioning. With our in person training one session typically lasts for 1 hour. The first 10-15 minute will be warm up, then about 30-40 minutes of strength and conditioning and the last 5-10 minutes to stretch and cool down.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    At Turbo Train our employee's are certified through the ISSA and are . We have experience working inside gyms like Equinox as well as Equinox's education system for trainers. Our founder Albert was a D-I collegiate swimmer and has worked with olympians, professional athletes, and celebrities. Hayley is also formerly an elite level swimmer and is currently an assistant coach for Royal Swim Team in Culver City. Hayley is certified in the following - Nutrition (ISSA) - Professional rescuer for CPR/First Aid/AED - Safety Training for swim coaches - Athlete Protection training - Concussion Protocol - Coaches advantage - Foundations of coaching - Water Safety Instructor
