I love this yoga studio for a few reasons that really make it stand out from others Ive tried.First, the Venice Blvd location has consistently scheduled early morning classes at 6:00 and 6:30 AM, which makes it easy to build a routine. Its nice knowing that no matter the week, those early options are there if you want to start the day on the mat.Another thing I really appreciate is how the flow classes are structured. The instructors dont have us memorize a sequence and then repeat it on our own two or three times before everyone meets back in down dog. Ive been to a lot of studios that do that, and it can be stressful trying to remember the order while also keeping pace with the class. Here, the instructors guide the flow throughout, which makes the experience feel smoother and more accessible.I also love the overall teaching philosophy. Even in higher-level classes, theres no pressure to push into advanced poses. The instructors feel more like guides than drill sergeantsthey offer suggestions and variations, but youre encouraged to move at the level that feels right for your body that day.Overall, its a really supportive environment that makes it easy to keep coming back, whether youre looking for a consistent morning practice or just a class where you can focus on moving and breathing without feeling rushed or pressured.

Came in for a drop class - hot yoga 2. Everyone was super kind and the class had the right mix of flow and breathe. Studio is clean and has everything you need. You can rent a mat and towel if you need to (like myself). Kudos to Jill and Emily

Right when I walked into the studio, Jaya warmly greeted me at the door and welcomed me into what she called the Veda family. The studio has two practice rooms, and she directed me to the correct one, showing me where to leave my shoes and letting me know I could bring my belongings inside to place on the open shelving. Once inside, I immediately noticed the padded flooring, which definitely added support to the practice. As the room filled, Jaya gently asked us to shift and make space so everyone could feel comfortable and included. The class began with a collective Om and some simple, settling breathwork, and then we moved into a steady, flowing sequence. This was an intermediate-level class with light heat. Rather than long static holds or intense balancing, the practice unfolded as a continuous, rhythmic flow that gradually built energy and then softly guided us back down with slower movement and gentle stretching.Jaya closed the class with a beautiful chant, inviting us to join in or simply receive it in stillness. We ended together with Om, Shanti, Shanti, Shanti, which sealed in the benefits of our practice. The overall atmosphere was warm and friendly, with people naturally introducing themselves and chatting afterward. The music leaned more toward traditional Indian-inspired sounds rather than mainstream Western yoga playlists, which added to the overall vibe of the class and space. It was a lovely experience. I left feeling a sense of belonging, connected, and at ease. Thank you, Jaya!(The space is great inside & out - photos included.)
