Tingwei is one of a kind professional you would want to work with. He is courteous, professional, and easy to communicate with. Tingwei always carefully listens to what we picture for the project and lands on solutions that tackle to our needs and budget.
As many homeowners, we wanted everything to be correct and safe in terms of any changes in structure. After interviewing with two other experienced engineers, we chose Tingwei because of his background and how he presented as a professional consultant. The journey is completely hassle-free as he precisely offered what to expect and down-to-earth perspectives. City approved his plan right away without any hassle. We couldn't be more happy to have Tingwei as safeguard of our home.

T.W. is an exceptional structural engineer (highly recommend!), who consistently goes above and beyond in the work. From the very beginning of our project, i.e., I wanted to open the living room and kitchen space so we needed a new ceiling and roofing framing plan, which was extremely complicated since we needed to take down supporting walls, replace with new beams, etc.). T.W. showed great attention to details and a deep understanding of structural engineering principles. His knowledge and expertise ensured the success of our project.
Throughout the entire process, T.W. was extremely communicative and responsive, and was always available to answer our questions (from me and contractors) and discussed with us about the alternative solutions or materials, e.g., we couldn’t find the specific beams and hangers at the beginning, he did another round of calculations and gave us more options. Another example would be he communicated with the contractor with no issue and made sure everything followed the plan. His willingness to listen to our concerns and incorporate our feedback was greatly appreciated.
In addition to the technical skills, T.W. is a pleasure to work with. He is professional, courteous, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the success of the project. He is passionate about the work and truly care about his clients.
Overall, I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a skilled and dedicated structural engineer.
