I used to teach chemistry and I love sharing it with people! I enjoy helping students discover that they can do chemistry, and why it matters in their life. Mr. Green helped my daughter with her sophomore chemistry class. He was a really good teacher and helped her learn her chemistry better than her regular teacher. I've recommended him to several of my friends who need chemistry help for their kids as well. All around great value!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $70/hr for General and Honors Chem and $90/hr for AP Chem. I am happy to make suggestions about frequency of tutoring, but I don't require weekly commitments.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught high school chemistry for three years. I have a Single Subject Science Teaching Credential and a M.A. in Education. My Masters project was about helping students develop their study and self-reflection skills in the classroom.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've enjoyed tutoring since I left teaching in 2020. I decided to move on from full time teaching to pursue other goals of mine and am thankful to be able to incorporate chemistry in my daily life through tutoring.
