I work on a 'train the trainer' mentality, so that I give you the tools to continue to work with your dog in the future. I also believe in getting your dog right into the situations where you are having trouble. For example if your dog is aggressive toward dogs, we will meet in a place where we encounter lots of dogs. I do not feel that avoiding a situation will provide any benefit to you. I work with all breeds, all ages and all problems, but I also *specialize* in dogs with fear, anxiety and fear aggression. I work with many clients who have tried other trainers but have not had success.
I love dogs and I love helping to build the human animal bond. Having a dog should be a wonderful experience, not a stressful one!

Beth is the best. She is very qualified and knows what she is doing. She trained myself and my multipoo who was super aggressive to learn techniques to get away from those problems. Beth was very good and not just training my dog but training me how to keep up the work with him at the end of the day. My Teddy was very hard to take on walks and walk by people. He was super aggressive before I met Beth. She provided me the tools that enabled myself to continue to train my dog after our lessons were over. She was very good at teaching the owner how to work with their dogs and that works out in the long run. I would recommend her with five stars to anyone!!

As new dog parents we were struggling training our frenchie to walk on a leash without trying to run at a dog walking by. Within two lessons she not only trained our dog but us on the appropriate actions to take to fix unwanted behaviors. She also gave us what brands to use that are better for our breed of dog (food, leash,treats, toys). Months later our frenchie is well trained and health. 100% Recommend

I don’t lock you into a contract but do have a 2 session minimum
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free online phone consultation to better discuss your needs. If you are looking for dog board and train in San Diego in addition to a phone consult there will be a personal meet and greet to establish your needs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I left a corporate career many years ago to follow my passion, working with dogs.
