Hi, I'm Kendra Martin! I offer interior design, home organization, and cleaning services in the San Diego area.
I started Hygge Home Studio as a result of huge growth and success at designing and starting vacation rentals in Southern California. My design work has recently been featured by VRBO, West Elm, Urban Walls, and Dwell. I am passionate about design but I also have an MBA and corporate leadership experience, so I understand budgeting and finance to help you accomplish your goals. I offer Airbnb curation and start-up, interior design, and staging services. From one-day styling spruce ups all the way to full-home furnishings, I can help you reach your design goals! I am reliable, creative, and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I work hard and am hyper-focused on creating the best customer experience possible.

I'm very picky when it comes to design aesthetic and the professionalism of someone coming into my home, and Kendra wowed me on every level possible!
I've interacted with many different contractors and vendors and Kendra was by far the most responsive, organized, empathetic to my questions and needs, budget conscious, honest, detailed, and had great a follow through.
She did a makeover for 4 spaces including my bedroom, living room, and 2 patios. I'm so pleased with how beautiful, modern, chic, and cozy my place looks! Definitely check our her Instagram at @hyggehomestudio, which is what made me decide to choose her on Thumbtack for my project.
Kendra also opened my eyes to different ways things can be rearranged or grouped together in a small space to maximize the layout without things looking too cluttered. She was great at finding bargain and sale pieces from high end stores, or low cost items that were of great quality with a modern vibe.
I can't speak highly enough about Kendra and will definitely use her again for any and all design projects.

Kendra has a very unique/distinct creative approach. One of the difficulties of my project was the layout of the units. She embraced the challenge and was able to design in a way that brought allure and charm to the place. I have to say what was most refreshing about Kendra was her professionalism. She promptly responded to any questions I had and was always on time. She is dedicated to her craft and keeping her clients engaged.

Kendra is a visionary in minimalist design. She did an exceptional job converting two garage stalls into a five star rated Air BNB and VRBO retreat. Guests rave over her curations that make my property not only hip and modern but homey and comfortable. And all was done for a reasonable investment. Kendra is a pro! So much so that VRBO chose her design to be featured in their advertising.
