I will usually read some reviews but I don't take the time to write a review. This time however, I need to give credit where credit is due.
To start, he showed up on time and even waited for me (late appt. requested after work) on our first meet.
I had just bought this house and needed help with some repairs and changes/remodeling.
We discussed projects and promptly provided me with his quotes. I hired him to work at my house and I am very happy I did.
In a nutshell, he performed the work discussed and was flexible to carry out more work that needed to be done. He help me by suggesting his own ideas which I had not thought of ( I am a DIY type of person) and I am thankful for that. He also took care of coordinating some work with an Electrician, the city code enforcer officer and the people replacing my roof when I was not there.
He did a very nice job and more for a reasonable price. He performed beyond my expectations. I will call him again.

Best experience I've ever had with a handyman -- and owning several properties, I've had a LOT of experiences. Gerardo responded to contacts promptly, and was flexible about scheduling. He arrived exactly when he said he would, quickly evaluated the several projects I needed, and set to work.
Gerardo listens closely to your requests, not a common attribute among skilled craftsmen. He will make tactful suggestions, but accomplish what YOU want, not what he thinks will be "right". His work is precise, professional and creative. He is careful to protect your home while working, laying paper or plastic to catch sawdust or drywall debris; my house was cleaner when he left than when he arrived.
Gerardo is polite, low-key, and a delight to work with. He charges by the hour, which I appreciate; he works quickly but doesn't rush or shortcut a project, nor does he needlessly draw it out to inflate the time charge.
I would recommend Gerardo for any project you have; in fact, I would recommend calling him quickly, because I have more projects, and it looks as if he's going to be awarded a big contract that will limit his availability. First rate in every category.

Gerardo was very accommodating. He offered to do the job earlier than expected but we were unable to get the materials. He showed up on time and did a thorough job. He even agreed to look at another problem I had without additional costs. I would definitely recommend his services and use him again.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always on top of new codes, material, pricing go to the contractors school educate me more on how estimates jobs with new market, going to workshops that some companies offer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My uncle was a finish carpenter and always to his shop after school love the smell of the wood when he cutting, sometimes I did help him in the small tasks always wanted to be like him, in high school I saw the handyman fixing a lot of things I always wanted learned how thing worked and got fixed and since them I got in to construction business, when I go to costumer I am always leaning new things from them.

I do carpentry rough and finish, dry wall, decking, painting, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring (tile, hardwood floors,) remodelled bathroom, kitchens, flip homes, concrete work, framing.
