Jake also demonstrates all the other qualities (Value, Responsiveness), I could only pick 3. I had ordered peel-and-stick wallpaper to try to do this project alone and got cold feet after I realized how expensive mistakes could get, so I turned to Thumbtack for help (urgently). Jake reached out promptly to understand the project, and asked for all the necessary details, gave us a work cost estimate (which ended up being accurate), and also offered a path for us to prime the walls ourselves to save money and time (he was willing to prime it as well, but also said it would be cheap and easy for us to do ourselves too). By priming the walls ourselves, we cut the time to do the wallpaper really quickly (within 72 hours), and he was able to sand down and wallpaper the whole office room (9x11) in one day. Comparatively, other operations who reached out needed their staff to come do multiple appointments/assessments of the space to make quotes and commitments, but Jake managed to do it all alone with photos and communication, and made the timing and commitment really easy for us. My husband and I are both working professionals and aren't able to support multiple appointments during the day or tons of back-and-forths. The work done was incredibly and meticulously well done, despite the wallpaper being very finicky (bubbles popped up initially and some portions were peeling off slightly on first application because the peel and stick wasn't sticky enough), but Jake used several techniques, including wallpaper paste injection, and patched every last bubble thoroughly. He also came back a month later to perfect anything that had risen again (only 1-2 bubbles were left to fix) without any charge - a true artist who cares for his work! I'm really glad I trusted him, he was extremely professional with his work and highly experienced (he had done various hotels and companies) also taught me how to patch holes myself should they ever come. Thank you so much Jake, I love my new office (my corgi loves it too)!

Jake painted the interior of our entire house. He did precisely and timely. The shiplap accent wall be did for one of our bathrooms is my favorite. Jake cares a great deal about the work he leaves behind so he’ll treat your house as his own and leave it nothing short of perfect!
