$45 to $50 an hour depending on the project. Art supplies may be extra.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently working for Arts Education Connection San Diego. I teach elementary students at all different schools. I have taught art for 20 plus years. I was am art teacher at Avocado Elementary School for 14 years. I also taught afterschool art classes with Little Arts Inc & Imagination Arts. I also draw & paint myself. Many of my projects would be good for older students or Adults. I can do paint parties or small groups.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as an Art Docent at a school & soon got asked to teach art lessons to the whole school. I took many high school & college level art classes & other outside art classes. I come from a family of artists & have always loved creating art, decorating, doing crafts and going to art museums. I also worked as a visual display artist in a department store for 16 years.
