Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: There are many tributes to other artists, but few with the 2+ solid hours of chart-busting hits of Tom Petty. What makes GWO stand out from other Petty tributes are our easy-going professionalism and that we sound so close to the original. What we love most is probably the audience interaction. When the crowd is engaged and singing along with song after song, it's just awesome!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our base fee is for a standard 2-hour private concert. This includes travel within the Sacramento metro area and a sound system for up to a medium-sized auditorium or hall. Any additional costs are negotiated in advance, for considerations such as extended travel time/mileage, lodging requirements for multi-day shows, or additional sound reinforcement or stage lighting.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father taught me guitar when I was in elementary school, and I've been playing in bands ever since. I've received a lot of positive comments whenever we played a Tom Petty song, and I finally figured out that this was probably what my voice was best suited to. I'm blessed that I can now do this full time!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Think about what kind of show you really want, and then check with the band to find out what kind of show you can expect. We focus on keeping the crowd engaged and singing along, while keeping our sound true to Tom Petty's original recordings and live performances... without using "filler" backing tracks!
