I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, a Master of Arts Degree in Special Education/Learning Disabilities, and a California Credential in Speech Pathology with Classroom Authorization (valid through 2035). Throughout my 40+ years as a professional Special Educator, I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist with students aged 2 years - 22 years old, working on improving their skills in the areas of Articulation, Receptive & Expressive Language (vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, expression, figurative (non-literal) language, and pragmatics {social language); as a Special Day Class Teacher & Resource Specialist ages 4-12 years old in elementary level academic subjects; and as both a Private and Agency Academic Tutor with students in grades Kindergarten through High School in a variety of academic subjects. In addition, I have training in the following specialized programs: Lindamood Auditory Discrimination in Depth Program, The Wilson Reading Program; Sing, Spell, Read & Write Program, Touch Math Program, and The Montessori Program.
