Nathaniel was courteous over the phone and when I explained the problem, I immediately trusted that he could perform the work with no problem. He showed up to the property, inspected the situation, made an assessment, and then went to work. On my behalf, he purchased a more quality water heater and made sure it was up to code and further earthquake proofed the new unit which is was not before.
He clearly explained the problem to me. When the install was over and went to test it, he discovered that the store ended up selling him a faulty water heater. That same day, he uninstalled the faulty heater as well as disposing of the previous malfunctioning heater...drove 45 miles to the warehouse, got the owner to make a special trip (the warehouse had closed by that time), paid the owner the fee of 200$ to reopen on my behalf so he could return the previous unit and get the new one. He also stopped at other hardware stores to get adjunct parts for the installation. He returned to the property (by that time it was night time) and installed the new heater. He communicated with me every step of the way and gave good advice about maintenance. If this isn't good customer service, I do not know what is. I haven't had better service from a contractor. I wish I could use him for everything!"See more
