Adrien is very knowledgeable and caring. I never learned to swim and he has helped me get comfortable with water and feel more confident learning to swim. He is patient while also encouraging me to get out of my comfort zone. I would highly recommend him to any adults that need privateswimlesson.

I wish I could choose all 5 items! My Instructor, Adrien Hosking, is AMAZING! I'm on lesson 4 of 8 in the package I purchased. His Patience, Encouragement and Skill has reduced my fears of swimming. As I look forward to lesson 5, I believe I can Swim! Over 4 decades of attempting group instructions, this is the first time , with Adriens' personal instructions, that has resulted in the desired outcome to swim. I encourage all, especially those of a tender age (70+) to receive this service...I suspect that Adrien will be in High Demand and I encourage all to access his and Cool Strokes LLC before they are destined to be the BEST service and possibly inundated with multiple request to provide their services!

I only had two privateswimminglessons with Adrien at Cool Strokes LLC and yet by far he is the best swimming instructor I have ever worked with. I am very pleased with the results thus far as I have learned so much from Adrien in such a short time.
Adrien is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. His excellent teaching skills made it so easy to understand and follow. He worked with me at my own pace and patiently guided me from one swimming skill to another. I did not feel anxious at all while underwater as his instructions are super clear, logical, helpful, and efficient. He recognized my strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly, helped me to correct and avoid mistakes to improve my swimming skills. I also appreciate that Adrien did not throw in his sales pitch on the pre-paid packages because his attention was fully on my learning progression.
I highly recommend Adrien at Cool Strokes to anyone who has the need for enjoyable and effective swimminglessons. Looking forward to our next sessions and planning on signing my three children up for advanced swimminglessons with Adrien.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I like to have a phone consultation to discuss experience in the water, lesson goals, and scheduling logistics. Then, I like to set up a trial lesson and we can both decide if we are a good fit before proceeding with a full-length package of sessions.
