FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $2000 for 2 weeks, 3,000 for 3 weeks, $3500 for 4 weeks, $4000 and 5 weeks, and $4500 for 6 weeks. The dogs will get play time, swimming time if warm, and will get lots of walks and treats. They will get to go to the dog park often to be socialized as well as to stores. I will teach them basic obedience and all basic commands. I will be able to work with your pup throughout the day to make sure they understand and are use to the new routine of things. I charge $100 per one hour training session. I can work on specific issues during the hour but I prefer to start with the basics and not just throw the dog into training. I like to start with a walk, get them use to the collars, teach sit and stay and possibly some heel on the first session. Then strengthen all of those the second lesson and work more on heel. Then the third lesson would be come command. And the 4th would be heel from a distance, and so on. Also, remember for private training, I am there to guide you and your pup, not train your pup. I will show them and you the basics but then you will have to keep up the routine of what is taught to the pups throughout the week after every training session. I’m not there to correct your pup throughout the day like you can. I definitely suggest boarding if you aren’t home during most of the day or don’t have the time to constantly correct your pups. Little to no improvement will be shown unless the owner puts in their work as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talk about what the customer wants. Establish what issues are going to be addressed. Talk about pricing. Then set up the first appointment either boarding or private training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have successfully trained more than 15 dogs. These dogs were a mess when I first started working with them. Some had behavior problems, aggressive problems, anxiety problems, and other issues that they can’t really help. I work with each dog separately and figure out what techniques work best for them! All of these pups became efficient in sit, stay, come, place, heel, down, heel from a distance, come from a distance, and many other manners and commands!
