We hired Epli (photographer) and Simone (assistant) for our wedding in LA and we cannot begin to express how happy we are with their work. They went to our venue the day before the wedding to find cool spots for shooting photos and on the day of, they had a great presence and energy. We got the advice from a recently married friend to make sure that we were comfortable with the wedding photographer because they would be intimately involved in special and vulnerable moments throughout our wedding day. It was good advice and Epli was perfect for this job. She is incredibly easy going, grounded, creative and good with family, kids, and event staff. She had some really great ideas and vision for what she wanted to shoot and based this off of conversations that we had together leading up to the wedding. We received our final pictures today and we could not be happier with the results. There is some great storytelling and we now have a chance to re-live some of the most memorable and also easily forgettable moments of our big day. Her composition, angles, lighting and editing all look great and professional. She also was timely in getting us the final product. We are totally happy and we couldn't recommend her enough!

Epli photographed our wedding this January, and we couldn't be happier with her work. She brought a deep and loving presence to the event, and that showed through in her photographs. She was helpful and professional, and helped to add more flow and structure to our day. Having her there was seamless. The way she took and set up the photos was so thoughtful and caring, creating photographs that were aligned with us as a couple. She was able to capture the essence of our day, and achieved photos that both told a story and were visually stunning. I can get nervous in front of a camera, and was worried about awkward photoshoots that that would take me out of the moment. I also didn't have much of a vision for what I wanted. Epli researched the different areas of our venue and the natural light of the time of day, and gave us ideas for photos. It was such a gift to be able to lean into her vision, and trust in her direction. The results were beautiful. I highly recommend Epli for anyone looking to document their special moments.

I hired Epli to photograph my son's 1st birthday party. She reached out prior to the party to ensure she was totally clear on my expectations. She arrived well before the party started and got down on the floor from start to end to ensure she truly captured the event from my little guy's perspective. I am extremely happy with the photos as I feel she did an excellent job of capturing his big event. I now have photos I will treasure always! Thanks again Epli!

Ep Li just did the photographs for our wedding in Sebastopol. I was beyond impressed with the photos we got. Ep Li did an amazing job catching some really beautiful and was so great to have as a photographer - really easy going and able to take some great photos in a way that was so natural and unnoticeable during the event.     *graduated with a degree in Photography and Community & Justice Policies from Guilford College, Greensboro North Carolina. *continued on to study documentary photography at The Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, in Portland Maine.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I specialize in family and child photography. With a background in education, and being the mama of a 6 year old, I am able to connect with children and really have fun! It is from this fun that great pictures are made.
