- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When performing at wedding I am often asked what I charge per hour. I've found that a package rate is more fair to my clients because while I might be playing 15-45 minutes of music for a wedding ceremony the preparation, consultation, and travel often add up to 5-10 hours of time. That's why I have to charge $350 per "hour" of performance time!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During an initial phone consultation we will go over your desires and options, and I will guide you through the decision making process (if you haven't decided what you want already!). Typically a non-refundable deposit (20%) is due to hold the date and from there I stay in touch as needed to make sure you know everything is taken care of!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been performing at weddings since I was 12 years old, and love the chance to witness and participate in your joyous celebration!
