I bill out at $150 per design hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process with new customers is to have a brief conversation on the phone to assess budget (if there is one), scope or to-do list and to just get an explanation of the project from the client's perspective. I can also answer questions as to how I work during the project, client expextations, billing, etc. The next step is to have an in-home visit to meet in person, to see the space and to determine if I am the right person for the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the interior design field for 15 years. I have experience in designing kitchens, bathrooms, full-home remodels...even simple decorating projects. I owned a design showroom in San Diego's Little Italy area, called Mixture, so I also know my way around home furnishings, fixtures, lighting, etc.
