Introduction: Hi Everyone! I ONLY teach over Zoom, so anyone anywhere can work with me and I do a free meet and greet on Zoom so we can get to know each other. If you want to become a better singer or an artist in the music industry, you've found the right coach! I am in LA and I work with up-and-coming singers/ artists and have taught voice lessons for over 15 years. I'll teach you proper placement, breathing, technique, how to sing without strain, and all the tricks and tips the pros know. If you've hit a ceiling with another teacher, I can quickly help you retrain any bad habits and old muscle memory that isn't serving you as a singer and help you break through. It's all about consistency and practicing properly. I HAVE AN ARTIST DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY: I have an online course offering step-by-step mentorship program for anyone who wants to be a recording artist and taken seriously by the music industry. You will learn how to: - Find your IT Factor - Niche down to your perfect genre and sound - Rules of hit song writing - Find your clear marketing message and brand I am completely inspired by watching students find themselves and I love, love my job. I have been working with Marilee for a few months now and it has been an amazing experience so far. Apart from helping me improve and find my singing voice, she has been able to help me work on my confidence when it comes to singing in front of others. Working with Marilee has been amazing! After a few months I can tell a huge difference in my voice, breath control, pitch and confidence. She is also teaching me the ukulele, which is something I would have never thought to try if not for her. Something that I really appreciate is that she doesn't pressure you or make you feel bad if you mess something up, instead it's a fun, relaxing environment that allows you to learn and enjoy the process. Her experience really shines through in her teaching. I've learned so much already, looking forward to continuing the journey!

Lessons are reasonably priced and their is an option for everyone.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do a free meet and great on Zoom to get to hear you sing, get know you and see what your needs and goals are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied with the best out there and worked with pros my entire life. I was a classical pianist, songwriter and I've studied with the top vocal coaches in NYC and Los Angeles (Coaches on American Idol and teachers who work with the big stars) I'm a licensed BMG songwriter and have been writing and singing for over 20 years. I have a ton of knowledge about the music industry and artist development.
