We first got solar in 2008 with a company from East County. It was not a good experience; they were difficult to work with, didn't keep their commitments, and weren't so nice to deal with. Not only that, the power their system produced was steadily less each month. Last year I finally decided we needed someone skilled and reputable to work with, I found Greg and Incentive Solar on Thumbtack, and they made us a very good deal. The installation was smooth, they helped us with permits, rebates, tax incentives, etc etc -- and predicted we'd generate enough power to zero-out our SDGE bill. Turns out their prediction was low; we actually produced more power than we needed. Our bills from SDGE went down to $0.00 dollars per month -- even while running our AC in the hottest months. This was awesome news! We've recently decided to store that extra power, so Ben (the owner) is helping design a system with 2 Tesla Power Walls, which means that when SDGE starts their rolling blackouts again, which they will, we'll have full power, including running the AC. If you're interested in exploring Solar Power, I highly recommend you contact Incentive. They'll give you an honest bid, complete the work as promised -- and they're also very nice people to work with.

After studying the offerings of several solar system installers both local and national we selected local company Incentive Solar. They presented a solar solution tailored specifically to our needs at a price that was very competitive. We are extremely pleased that we selected them. The installation, testing, and inspections by the County and SDG&E were completed per schedule in a businesslike and professional manner. Both Greg and Marco handled the install and commissioning of the system with expertise and attention to detail. In our experience you will not find a better solar company than Incentive Solar.

Incentive Solar did a stellar job on my installation, they are extremely responsive, super competitively priced and have continued a high level of support even after my installation. I have been highly impressed with the entire process starting from the initial consultation all the way through and after my installation. Incentive solar set me up with Panasonic panels and the solar edge monitoring system which has been working flawlessly, and has allowed me to run my AC through the summer without worrying about massive electricity bills. I was paying 600-800 a month for my 5ton AC and pool equipment, now I'm paying approximately the flat rate of my Solar finance, which is $300/month.

My wife and I really shopped around for Solar because everyone had different things to say about it... I noticed that it was funny because every company seemed to say they had the best equipment.. What I really liked about Greg and the guys and Incentive Solar is that they have access to ALL the panels so they don't just sell you on the best equipment for them, they offer you the best equipment for the project and price.

The pricing is typically on a per Kw basis. We are by far the more affordable option while providing the best equipment on the market. We provide our customers with the most affordable purchase programs on the market.
