Introduction: We offer private consulting to help those with a desire to be more efficient, safe and healthy in home settings,assist with home management planning, financial and budgeting, home organization and in home care management of elderly, frail or post-surgery home care. I am a specialist in food prep and nutritional support planning, and have experience in in-home special event planning and catering for special occasions, and ongoing in-home social support. I have experience as hospital chaplain and family relations mediator as well. I am a retired university teacher and nonprofit director for family services, and lifelong professional home economist. I can keep people in their homes when changes arise that put them at risk of being placed out of the home, help family members acquire fast and effective ways to meet needs of family members, whether far or near, effectively and economically. I will come to homes for evaluation, coaching and initial direct services, then ongoing supervision of services. I specialize in setting up systems to make the task of living at home safer and easier through practical solutions that are cost-effective, retain independence and build skills in self care. I am sort of an occupational therapist for the homemaker who is physically, emotionally, financially and time or energy challenged.
