Isha is an incredible make up artist! I hired her to do my make up for my engagement party and she did not disappoint. She made me feel so comfortable from start to finish and I felt so beautiful after. She is truly an artist. The quality of her work shows not only in the finished product, but throughout the night - my make up looked just as good at the end of the party as it did the start. She's got great energy and a type A personality, exactly who you want doing your make up for any occasion. I highly recommend Isha and will definitely be hiring her again for future events!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve been expressing myself through art since I was a kid through various media, be it painting, drawing, sculpting. I really got into makeup artistry when I started working at Sephora inside JCP in 2017 while getting my bachelor’s degree. From there one thing has led to another and I’ve been doing makeup professionally for about 3 years (and 8 years for fun!)

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Working as a licensed beauty advisor at Sephora has allowed me to work with a very wide range of ages, skin tones, gender identities.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that your makeup artist’s portfolio reflects the type of look that you’re going for.
