I cannot recommend Composed Canine enough! From the very first session, it was clear that they possess a genuine passion for dogs and a deep understanding of canine behavior. My girl German Shorthaired Pointer Bailey Jo has always been full of energy and curiosity, which made training seem challenging at times. However, Leslie & Kaitlyn approached each session with patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude that truly motivated both of us. Thanks to their expert guidance, my girl has become more obedient, focused, and well-behaved. They tailored the training program to suit her unique personality and needs, which made all the difference. I especially appreciate their emphasis on positive reinforcement and building a strong bond between us. Not only did Leslie & Kaitlyn teach us valuable skills and commands, but they also provided ongoing support and tips for maintaining her training at home. We had an amazing experience working with Kaitlyn to help prepare our dog Maggie for the arrival of our new baby. Maggie has always been anxious and reactive, and we knew we needed help to set her (and us!) up for success. Kaitlyn guided us through everything from teaching a solid place command, improving recall, practicing stroller walking, and helping Maggie focus on us instead of reacting to other dogs.One thing that made a huge difference was that Kaitlyn brought along her own well-trained dogs to help Maggie practice her skills in a safe and controlled way. It was incredibly helpful for Maggie to learn how to stay calm and focused around other dogs.What stood out the most was how clearly Kaitlyn explained not just what to do, but whyhelping us truly understand Maggies behavior and how to work with her in a positive and effective way. Each session gave us practical tools and strategies that made a noticeable difference. We feel so much more confident now, and Maggie is doing better than ever. We are so grateful for Kaitlyns patience, knowledge, and support!Highly recommend to anyone looking for thoughtful, professional dog training!

LESLIE IS THE BEST!!!!! She has been so amazing in helping shape our dogs into their best selves!! She is honest and can approach every situation with a knowledgeable viewpoint. She has worked with my dogs for general training, trick training, off leash with e-collar training, rally, behavioral issues, and AKC CGC certifications. Her communication is great and Ive always gotten awesome updates when my dog did a board and train. I really enjoy how her goal is to help you and your dog with specific goals, not just a cookie cutter plan for a class. She is also very down to earth and real, so the training sessions arent strict/uptight or feel like youre not welcome if your dog isnt into training that day. My favorite part of group classes is celebrating milestones of pets or good behavior at the end of classes. It really helps you feel supported in your goals and helps build friends! If shes offering a class, take it!!15/10 recommend - tell her Clam and Tater said hi!!

Leslie is hands down the best trainer I have ever worked with. She really helped me dial in my obedience with my two huskies, making me more confident to take them with me out in high traffic public places. and even helped get their CGC CCGC and UCGC titles.Her knowledge and patience for dogs needing to have their space and having a safe encounter with others always left such a positive impact on not only me, but the dogs as well.
