We brought home a 8 week old doberman puppy from a breeder in San Jose. He was gorgeous and seemed laid back at the time. But once he settled in he proved to be quite the handful. He was full of sass, very bitey and would bark at us demanding attention. We found IQK9 online after some googling. I was a bit hesitant at first because of all the negative things you read online about boarding schools. I was worried that he'd not come back remembering us, or won't follow our commands... you think it, we thought it... But our crazy pup was on his way out if we didn't do something about his attitude. We signed up for the 3 week program and sent our 15 week old doberman to boarding school. He came back with all the knowledge Lianne and Bret had promised. After they taught both my husband and I how to use his commands to our advantage whether in our home, or out in public he became the dream dog I've always wanted. Off leash, or on leash, Khan is the giant dog that fits perfectly into our family. Four years later, throw a baby into the mix and he's an awesome big brother. I would highly recommend IQK9 to anyone who has just adopted a puppy or older dog. Lianne and Bret don't just train your dog, they also help you understand how to build a relationship with your dog so that you can really enjoy them. Our lives with Khan would probably not have happened if we didn't send him off to them.Apr 30, 2020IQ K9 Training's reply
Thank you Annick! Khan is a superstar!!!
I can’t say enough about IQK9. Like wow! Lianne helped me with my Labrador Dusty. I got him as a rescue and he was a nightmare, but I knew He could be a good boy if I just knew how to help him. He would bark constantly in his kennel, run off, pull on the leash, jump all over me, got into the garbage, and start fights with my other dogs. Few lessons with Lianne and he was walking so politely on a leash. He was eventually so well behaved that I could have him off leash and he would come to me every time! IQK9 changed my life and Dusty’s!May 10, 2020
