Brandon was a real pro. He had all the equipment needed for my varied jobs ranging from carpet re-stretching to toilet repair to pet door installation. He even went above and beyond to haul a few junk items away!

Brandon was very responsive to our request for help fixing a second story shutter. Over the years a trim piece disintegrated. Brandon cut a new board, painted and installed it. He came prepared with tools, epoxy and ladders. Very handy! We look forward to hiring Brandon again.

We hired Brandon to replace string lights above the swimming pool. They are connected to the house and palm trees. He agreed to the job over text and said he had been hanging lights professionally for 12 years. On his Thumbtack profile it says he is $70/hr. But when he walked into our backyard and commented on what a beautiful space it was, I wondered if he would up the price. And he did. He quoted my partner $85/hr. Said he could do the job in 2-3hours max as he is a fast worker. Fast forward to him working in the dark and didn’t finish until 10:30pm- 6 hours after he arrived! We even asked him if he wanted to come back the following day. He declined. When the lights were finally up 6 did not work. He promised us (we have it in writing on the receipt) he would come back and fix them. He ended up billing us for 4-5 hours of work (depending on which hourly rate he decided to use). After multiple texts and calls he has ghosted us. He also left broken bulbs on the sidewalk that we had to clean up. Extremely disappointed in his work ethic. We have to hire someone else being as we have a party coming up and we need the lights to work!
