I have been a student of Sifu Daniel Quincys since 2009. Through his classes and practices, I feel that I really gained a skill that will benefit me for the rest of my life. Having dislocated my knee multiple times, I had a very poor sense of balance and was unsteady on my feet. Daniel has helped me gain my balance and, more importantly, shown me how to center myself. He has a deep knowledge of the human body and teaches how to use proper alignment and explain what motions are healthy or dangerous. This is invaluable since many of us have lost this inherent knowledge about how to use our bodies.
Daniel is very approachable and welcoming, always inviting newcomers to come at any time. He is always open to questions and helps new (and old!) students understand the practices at all levels. He has a wealth of knowledge about the background and history of tai chi and qi gong, and this helps to put the practice into perspective. In the end, you will gain a practice that makes you feels great, gets your energy flowing and is wonderful for your mind, body and spirit!
