- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied abroad at the Universidad de Valladolid, Spain, where I took classes in translation. I am currently taking classes from UCSD Extension for their Translation Certificate program. I also attend webinars on proz.com.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began by working with agencies, but I also work for direct clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For the best results, hire translators who translate into their native language; if you need a document translated into English, hire a native English speaker, like me.
