This project started with water coming out of secondary drain. Found a HVAC from Nextdoor. He cleared the drain and indicated that Freon is at 1/2 and compressor is not working. He gave us a quote to install a new unit to replace my 27 year old gas one. It was a reasonable quote. However, I wanted to get at least 3 quotes for obvious reasons. Maks was our second call. His detailed explanation, knowledgeable recommendation, and non sales personality was a strong factor. After researching about this Daikin Fit all electric unit, we were sold with the product and his reasonable bid. Installation was 2 days later. He communicated very well during this process. Igor and his teammate showed up on time, worked a very long and hot day, and kept going until the job was completed. Given how tight our attic was, they performed magic to get the unit up there. After an extremely long day, they finished the job and left everything neat and clean. Not often am I blown away by anyone. Maks is truly the best contractor I had worked with. I love his no nonsense style and he delivered exceptionally well. I would not hesitate recommending Maksbuilder…you wont regret it!

Highly recommended getting HVAC work performed by Maksbuilder. Igor arrived only a few hours after I reached out to them. He diagnosed the issue very quickly and fixed it, no more and no less. At no point did I feel like I was being sold any unnecessary repairs, and he advised on how to fix any existing issue resulting from the initial install (poorly done under previously owners). Will use them again- thank you!

Maksym and his crew just finished installing a Daikin AC upstairs and downstairs, new lines, new ducting, and a whole house UV Air Purification System. We live in a two story house in Coto de Caza. I knew from the moment he gave us the bid immediately after examining the potential job, detailing everything with expertise and giving a verbal price, that he was our man. All the other bidders had to go home and figure it out and email the bid a few days later. Not only is he extremely qualified, but he is so honest and trustworthy that we have been beyond impressed. Igor, who is the on-site supervisor and workman, is also so knowledgeable and experienced and they both have a wide range of talents in construction, electrical and building in general. They take pride in all their work and they always strive to do the best job that can possibly be done. The first day, they plastic'd off our closet and covered our carpets and always left everything clean and neat at the end of the day. They did so many extras and did not charge for it, even tho it cost them for extra materials. You get the impression they are aiming to do the best job for you as if it were for their own mother. I just can't say enough good things about them. Their bid was extremely reasonable. If you are lucky enough to get them to work for you, you will also want to share accolades on their behalf. If there were 7 stars, they would get them all.
