- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Svistun Construction provides fair and comprehensive project pricing tailored to each project. We visit the construction site, review all construction documents and get a detailed requirements list from the potential customer before we start working on project pricing. For smaller projects we can give you a price within days, larger projects may require 2-10 days depending on their complexity.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer accepts our proposal, we work together to develop a project schedule and provide a detailed scope of work along with a clear, lump-sum contract. We believe communication is key, so we make ourselves readily available throughout the entire project to answer questions, address concerns, and keep everyone on the same page. Once the contract is signed, we begin work according to the agreed-upon schedule and stay in close communication with the customer through each phase of the project. As a hands-on, performing contractor, we take an active role in the work rather than simply managing it from a distance. Our customers can count on prompt responses, consistent communication, and someone on site who has a personal investment in the quality and success of their project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years of on-the-job training and experience in building remodeling, additions and new construction and have learned how to address issues before they negatively impact the project. In addition to these construction skills, I’ve also learned project management and customer service skills. We also have experience in land development, site preparation and utilities hookups.
