- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
-30-minute lesson: $35* -45-minute lesson: $45* -60-minute lesson: $55* Books: a one-time cost of $10-15 *in-home lessons subject to $10 travel fee per household, per visit We typically recommend starting with 30-minute lessons for beginners. If 30 minutes becomes too short of a time span to accomplish everything you/the student would like to get to, we can discuss increasing the lesson length.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before starting lessons, we need to know 3 simple things: -the student’s age -if the student has any musical experience (it’s completely fine if they don’t!), and if yes, do they already have a set of books they have been working through -if the student has access to an instrument to practice
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our teachers have experience teaching ages 4 and up. Most of our students are typically kids elementary-middle school age, but we do have some preschool age kids, teens and adults. Every student is different, and we are open to having an introductory lesson to see if the student is ready to start taking regular lessons. We typically recommend that a student start lessons between the ages of 4-6 (when they can read simple words and count).
