What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't just tell that you want 50 copies printed, describe how the printed piece should feel in your hand, as that helps to chose the right paper for your stock, also, quotes for 50 cards, 60 cards and 70 cards are usually not made.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What they want, in Letterpress there is no such thing as easily run/print different colors only once to see how they look. After a design is executed, color samples are generated digital, than the desired paper, ink etc is purchased and the printing begins.
