I hired Diamond Life Paving to work on my driveway. They extended the driveway width, dug up old path and re-surfaced that too. It was a total of around 10 square yards of new concrete. We were quoted $4300 for the work but when the it was completed (late) we were receieved a bill for $6300 (which was a surprise, as the extra cost was never explained).
The new driveway extended into my lawn, where they had initially concreted over the sprinklers (after telling me they would be moved). If I hadn't tested the sprinklers before they left, I fear I would've had to fix it myself. At least they fixed it - however, the lawn they dug up to move the sprinklers is now dead...
Insult to injury, trash and cigarette butts were left on my property after the work was completed!
