Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'm a native Korean speaker and educated in Korea from K-12 through graduate school. I have taught Korean language to many US students since 2015. I'm living in Korea now, so only remote teaching will be available. (If you have any chance to visit Korea, I can help you for traveling, too. If you are interested in Korean food, I can introduce Korean traditional food and good local restaurants.) I focus my lesson on actual Korean speaking, with exact pronunciation, intonation and grammar. I teach practical Korean conversation along with Korean culture. My students will learn to speak Korean fluently for their business or travel (depending on the goal of each student). My possible time slots are between 6 pm to 7 pm ET on weekdays and Sunday except Wednesday, and anytime after 8:30 PM ET on Friday and anytime after 5 PM ET on Saturday. Thank you.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always communicate with my new customer about his/her goal of learning, because teaching should be varied with student's needs.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm teaching Korean and I was raised and educated (from K-12 through graduate school) in Seoul (capital city of Korea). I received my Ph.D. degree from Yonsei University, located in Seoul, which is one of the top three universities in Korea. I am a native Korean speaker, who is perfect in reading, speaking and writing in Korean.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    1. A female student who moved to Korea because of her husband's job. I'm still communicating with her through text. 2. A female student who married to a Korean guy, and she wanted to communicate with her parents in law. Now she can talk simple conversations with them. 3. Two Korean American sisters who don't speak Korean. 4. I recently started a new class with a new student, and she is a big fan of K-pop and preparing an opportunity of working in Korea.
