I was very satisfied with how fast and professional he was.Sep 2, 2016Verified
I've only had one initial call with JD, but he was very prompt and professional. So far so good. Looking forward to seeing how he can help me to keep some children safe.Jun 22, 2016Verified
JD was very professional. He spent much time both before and after I hired him. My case was complex; he was really great at brainstorming ideas that I hadn't even considered before. The $300 fee for a database report was worth it. I feel more informed and will most likely continue moving forward to gather more information on my case. I highly refer him; he can research and gather pertinent information on any subject, criminal or personal. Thank you, JD.Mar 24, 2016Verified
Very unprofessional DO NOT waste your money .. Complete scam..... He will promise the world and never follow through .. He states he has all the experience and can perform things he cannot .. He's all talk. Save your moneyNov 19, 2015VerifiedJD Stone Agency's reply
I have received a couple other bad reviews on thumbtack, but this is the first one given while I was still working on the case. "Tanya" asked me to see if her boyfriend was cheating with his secretary. We recently spoke about the case and I advised her there is no evidence of an inappropriate relationship. Suddenly I get this review. I'm trying to give Tanya's complaint credit, which takes intuition instead of review of facts. Her case was handled and the results were negative. Its possible that Tanya believes an angry email and a negative review will generate a quick refund. A negative result is not a conspiracy. It simply means there is no evidence your boyfriend is cheating.
I hired James as a process server for a party that had previously evaded service by the sheriff. James was very creative about tracking the party down and very professional about serving the dox. I am so grateful for his help at this difficult time, and I can recommend him without any reservations.Mar 23, 2015Verified
- What types of customers have you worked with?My most common investigation is tracing e-mails. This is a specialty that not many investigators know how to perform. The second most common investigation is a background search on someone my client has met on-line. I charge a little more than those automated searches, but my reports are more detailed and do not have reams of data about people with similar names.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Ask your investigator what their background is; how they learned the industry. There are multiple paths to getting a private investigator's license, and they are not all equal. Look for an investigator whose background most closely matches the work you want performed. Most investigators are either former police officers or former insurance adjusters. Fewer are college graduates who mentored directly with a national agency after getting a paralegal certificate. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses.
