I had written a short story that I thought needed a simple edit. I gave it to Caryn, who gave me so much more. She not only helped with the grammar and spelling but with plot, characters, and pacing. I'd never come across a "writing coach" before. When I asked why she took so much of her time to help me, she replied, "Would I let you put anything but your best out there for the world to see?" This response has been the underpinning of our professional relationship and subsequent friendship. I realised she was training me to write better than I ever dreamed possible, and her editing gave my work its vital polish. I am as proud of this little story as of anything I've ever done, thanks to her. She is a professional in the highest sense. What types of customers have you worked with?
Almost anything having to do with editing. I have mainly edited full manuscripts and helped authors greatly improve their work. They all inform me their writing went up a level after working with me.
