I had written a short story that I thought needed a simple edit. I gave it to Caryn, who gave me so much more. She not only helped with the grammar and spelling but with plot, characters, and pacing. I'd never come across a "writing coach" before. When I asked why she took so much of her time to help me, she replied, "Would I let you put anything but your best out there for the world to see?" This response has been the underpinning of our professional relationship and subsequent friendship. I've found Caryn to be an excellent editor and proofreader. Not only does she fix any and all grammar errors, but she's also invaluable when it come to plotting and character consistencies. I can't recommend her highly enough. I wouldn't dream of publishing anything without first getting her expert opinion.
