Working alongside a great planning and coordinating team can make all the difference in the success of a wedding day, especially considering the level of execution and the high-pressure moments that naturally come with events of this importance. In my opinion, kindness and respect are just as important as organization and communication they truly go hand in hand. With Sparkle and Lace Events, working with Allie and her team, we experienced not only a high level of professionalism and coordination, but also genuine kindness and respect throughout the entire day. Sadly, that level of mutual respect between vendors can sometimes feel 50/50 in this industry, which made their approach stand out even more. Because of the environment they created behind the scenes, our job became significantly easier, allowing all of us to focus on what mattered most: creating an incredible experience for the couple and their guests. These behind-the-scenes interactions may go unnoticed by most guests, but they have a huge impact on the overall success and flow of a wedding day. Allie was phenomenal in executing the vision I had for my wedding day! We hired her for a wedding management package, which provided us access to her online planning resources (which were a huge help!), coordination meetings, timeline creation, rehearsal help, as well as having her & her assistant help us on the wedding day. Though I had a venue coordinator, I 100% feel that my day flowed seamlessly by having the help of Allie as my personal coordinator/ planner. She was with me during the challenging parts of wedding planning and was always one text away to make me feel supported, heard, and seen, especially when wedding planning can feel like such an isolating process. She remembered the details I had in mind and improved upon the ideas I originally had. I also appreciated how she made sure my wedding party and family members were checked up on throughout the ceremony & take-down of the event. When the night was over, she made sure everything was ready to go so my husband and I did not need to worry or stress about anything. I am very budget friendly and am willing to work with you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing that I like to do is schedule a phone consultation to discuss more about what you envisioning for your event. Talk through guest count, style/theme, budget, vendor selection, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's in theatre with an emphasis in management. Managing theatrical productions or theatre companies has provided me experiences that directly relate to wedding/event planning & management. In addition, as an elementary school teacher, you have to plan, coordinate and manage students and their parents.
