Piano With Ms. Rachel

Introduction: I provide private piano lessons to age 5-adult. I am also a licensed KiddyKeys teacher which is for ages 3-5. This is a group piano readiness class. Children experience music, movement, improvisation on the piano and music theory. KiddyKeys is also a great way to see if your child is interested in piano lessons. I am a fun, creative and dedicated teacher. My piano students learn theory concepts with games rather than pointing to a page. I am a member of numerous Facebook piano teacher groups which keep me up to date on new ways of teaching and teaching children with developmental delays. I'm always on the lookout for anything that will make piano more fun, more educational or help explain a theory concept better. I have 9 years of piano teaching experience and maintain a studio of private piano students as well as KiddyKeys. I am very passionate about teaching, I love that I am able to share my talent with others. The skills learned in KiddyKeys classes or private lessons will help students with many aspects of their life.It has been proven over and over again that music makes you better at math and increases your I.Q It makes me proud to know that the things I am teaching will stay with students for a lifetime.
