Introduction

I teach fun and personalized music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. I graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA in 2009 with a degree in Music and Guitar Performance, as well as audio engineering. My expertise includes guitar, bass, drums, audio engineering, music theory, ear training, songwriting, improvisation, and digital music creation. I also have strong knowledge of rock, metal, pop, funk, and fusion. My career spent on the stage gives me insight into the music industry for those looking to pursue music professionally. I strive to make classes enjoyable and to teach my students the specific skills they want to improve upon, whether that be learning their favorite songs to play along with or to dive deeper into their potential. Dan Serper has been my guitar teacher for about eight months now, and I am very pleased with my progress. Dan breaks songs down into parts and he transcribes those parts for you to play right away. He can also help you dial in your amp to sound great with the music you like. Under Dan’s guidance, I have learned about a dozen Rock and Blues tunes that are really fun to play. No matter what your level or preferred style is, Dan Serper will help you become a better guitar player.

Dan is an awesome musician and excellent teacher! He is full of technical savvy and hacks that help a player find their way with ease on the instrument.
