Finally, I have a piano tuner to call that responds, communicates and is pleasant to have in your home. I am on a mission to refer William to my musical friends, as we have all struggled to find a piano tuner since COVID.

It was a pleasure to work with William. He came to our house right on time and went straight to work. Our upright piano that is over 100 years old had some sticky keys. William wasn't able to fix them so he took the whole inside with him to his workshop. He needed to order parts, and this took longer than expected, but he kept in touch and let us know his progress. Overall, the repair took about 3 weeks, but William was a professional the whole time. I would work with him again if our piano needs further tuning.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have patience. A good tuning like a fine meal takes time to provide.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

When was the last time I had my piano tuned? Repair work is different than Tuning. Tuning is adjusting the strings to a desired pitch. Repair work fixes issues with the various components of the Piano. How much use does the piano receive? once a day, once or more a week, etc. If the Piano is brand new it will require at least two or more tunings the first year according to manufacturer's directions.
