The first time they came to our house was for a pump replace. They came and inspected it and put in the work order and had it the following week. They even cleaned our pool and got it in good shape but then the motor from the pool pump went out in less than a year so we rescheduled out again. They came and seen the pump wouldnt turn on and he said he put in a order for a new pump in which they had him come back to actually check the pump and why it wasnt running then he had to put in an order again which just prolonged the entire thing. We got charged and it said the services were completed when they hadnt even came back to change the pump. Then they texted saying they had a family emergency which is understanding but then a whole week went by then they said they were able to get it approved so these past two weeks they were just barely putting the order in. Then another week went by and nothing. Finally we tried contacting them multiple times and no answer. Finally they answer and we were out on hold for over 45 minutes. Then we text the number they originally texted from only for them to let us know they sent the order and got approved for a new motor. So this means all the times they were placing an order to get approved was actually not being done. Now we have to wait for the part to come in which we thought thats what we were waiting for this whole time. Now my pool has been turning green this whole time because they kept giving us the run around telling us theyve been trying to work on it when they werent. Our account has been charged as the service was done and were still left with a green pool. The reason I gave two stars is because the first time they did an amazing job and got the job done in a timely manner but this second time around has been so frustrating and stressful.

Hi Janet, I'm so sorry you are not having a good experience with us. I want to clarify a few things. We responded promptly to your work order and put in an order promptly for the manufacturer warranty. Unfortunately we are not responsible for how long the pump lasts or how quickly 3rd parties respond... There has not been multiple orders put in, only one at the beginning that you were aware of. The manufacturer requested additional testing to verify the exact failure and then modified the work order for the motor only as that is what failed...it is within their discretion to do that. The delay has not been with us. As you have experienced from us in the past we try very hard to take care of the customers we come into contact with...so I'm not sure what your goal was with this review, but as it sets we are still waiting for the warranty part for the work order that we submitted originally...not multiple. You're also right there was a family emergency and I quite literally just got back, but that has not created any additional delays to your repair. I even exchnaged messages with your husband twice first thing this morning regarding that, so we actually have been in communication, but still do not have the parts to install. If I could make it faster I would, if you want to pay for the parts please let us know and we'll be there tomorrow to install it. Please feel free to reach out to the manufacturer and get more details on this matter if you like, but as far as we have been told...and as I relayed to your husband this morning...we are still waiting for them to arrive and we were told they would arrive "soon"...that's as much as I know. We were assigned to Sunset Pool through our home warranty to access our pool pump and ended up needing a pool pump replacement. Normally, I hear horror stories of people receiving poor service because it was through a home warranty work order but this was definitely not the case. Sunset Pool was easy to work with and Chris (technician) did such an amazing job replacing our pool pump and getting our pool (1st picture after being without a pump for a week) which was getting super green and about 2 days worse then the picture and he went above and beyond to get our pool back on course after getting the pool pump started. It was already looking better within hours (2nd picture just hours later! I thought it was going to take a few days to get back on track. I love the fact that we have had Sunset provide service from a couple other work orders from our home warranty but the fact that we were not given different technicians every time and had the same technician come out was great. I also love the fact that they send you link/location updates on when the technician is enroute and how far out they are. Very helpful! I highly recommend them and would definitely use them outside our home warranty for future pool/spa needs. Thank you Sunset Pool & Chris!!
