Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Many clients who have been through numerous service companies before me have said that I am the most knowledgeable, detailed, and dependable. I work very hard doing what I am passionate about and it seems to show. I ran two fish shops for 13 years. I have kept aquariums for over 25 years. I studied aquaculture in college and continue to read every book printed regarding aquariums. I pride myself on my knowledge and attention to detail. Since leaving the two shops I ran to open my own business, I have become quite successful. I attribute this to my high standards, not just in the work done, but in all my equipment, supplies and my water purification system. Let me show you why Reef Mechanics raises the bar building custom aquariums and in maintenance.

Hired on Thumbtack

At issue were two very large aquariums at two business locations. One aquarium was supposed to have been maintained by another vendor on Thumbtack but for 4 months this aquarium was filthy. The other huge aquarium had just been set up by the same vendor and all but one saltwater fish died within 3 weeks despite this vendor going out to "remedy" the situation. The previous vendor has not offered to refund payments for maintenance of the established aquarium or the expensive and now dead fish he placed in the new aquarium. So, after several texts with Brian Freeman of Reef Mechanics, he offered to come out for "no charge" just to try to save the 3 surviving fish. Moreover, Brian came out at no charge and examined both of the aquariums and made solid suggestions about the state of the water, additional equipment and the type of saltwater fish that would be compatible to re-stock the aquariums. He also submitted a fair bid for maintenance services. Brian responded quickly, gallantly and professionally to the dire situation and is now restoring our aquariums to a healthy state and procuring replacement fish that are hardy and healthy. Brian is knowledgeable, personable and competent and we are lucky to have found him through Thumbtack!
