FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I would want the customer to know that I do everything I can to provide a reasonable cost for my services. With that being said, please understand that a 4-5 hour event can easily constitute a 10-hour day for me (preparing for an event, travel / set-up time, etc.). Fuel charges and Thumbtack fees are another cost. Also, providing a portable bar and/or glassware is another calculated cost (in terms of the convenience to the customer, and savings in rental charges). I sincerely hope that this information will be helpful for anyone planning an event. I strive to offer consistent, honest and fair pricing to every client that reads this, and I look forward to speaking with you soon!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to keep everything relaxed and easy, but always professional! Communication is the key. Hiring me is a simple, one-step process (verbal agreement, formalized by marking me as "hired" on the Thumbtack site). After that, I make sure to stay in contact as much as needed, right up until event time.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
A lot of weddings!! As a bartender, however, I have done many business functions and promotional-type of events. I have also done small, intimate house parties, but also worked huge public entertainment venues.
