Affordable Carpets

Introduction: I have more than 26 years of carpet installation and sales experience, both residential and commercial. I offer custom steps, patterns, Berbers, repairs, re-stretch, etc. I have run crews of up to 16 men. I subcontracted for a Carpet One store in San Mateo, CA, for over 20 years until they shut their doors going out of business 5 years ago. The owner passed away 7 years ago, letting me and others who worked for or with him that I received the least callbacks and complaints than any installer he has hired. I'm not sure how many installers he had work for him, but being in business since the 1950s, I take it as quite a compliment. Installers usually get paid by how much material (square yard or square foot) they install. Many installers rush to try and make more dollars per hour. Mistakes are usually made, and corners are cut. Morally, I just can't and won't do this. Everyone likes to make dollars, right? I'm no exception. Where I am an exception, I'm not greedy; there is enough dollars to take the time to do the job to perfection, eliminating costly callbacks. Years ago, I walked into a customer’s home and thought, "How would I want this done if this were my home?" It hasn't failed me yet because I no longer have a storefront or pay costly rent for a shop; I'm able to save people dollars this way also. Quality is affordable!
