Introduction
Hello! I am a seasoned fashion designer offering private sewing lessons, alterations, and bespoke designs. I have experience in making custom pieces for my clients from concept, to pattern making, to construction. I am currently working on my first collection for my new brand, TheRēdue, but I am still accepting custom orders.
After I graduated from FIT in New York City, I have always wanted to make a positive impact in the industry by sharing my knowledge of high end sewing techniques, pattern making and garment design. I want to help my students elevate their sewing skills. Whether it is as simple as learning to sew on buttons, or making a completely new garment, I am your expert and am ready to help you achieve your sew-ist goals.

I brought my favorite coat to fix the trimmings all over. The coat is not that expensive but I really like and it's hard to find the same kind of design here in US.
She is soooo professional, very very fashionable and super pretty! She gave me the rough quote when I brought. I paid about half as deposit and less than 1 week, it was ready.
I already brought 2 more skirts to fix.
She might be slightly more expensive than any of those alteration places but it's totally worth. When I saw her, I was totally comfortable and trust her.
If you have your favorite clothes you need to fix or modify, she is the person to go!

Marina is the absolute best! I purchased a dress for my wedding reception that was decent, but I really wanted to elevate it. I was recommended to Marina to help customize my dress. When I had my first meeting with Marina, she was so helpful recommending designs that would look great on the dress. Marina created a few sketches that were all so beautiful. After selecting my favorite design, Marina did a fantastic job giving me updates on the progress of the dress. She also educated me along the way about all the things she was doing/adding to enhance the shape of the dress. It took a few weeks to complete, and I was so happy with everything. It fit and looked so much better than when I purchased the dress… I could not believe it. I really appreciate her honesty throughout the entire process because she truly made the perfect dress for me! Marina is so talented and amazing to work with.

I know this may sound corny, but I had always wanted a custom dress for my 30th birthday party. For some reason it was difficult finding my vision online or in the stores that matched what I wanted 100%. I reached out to LUKINA Designs just to see what they could come up with. On the first call I sent them my ideas, pictures, etc. as well as explained what I was looking for. I also gave them full permission to have their own twist on the designs. A few days later I had received drawings of my dress. I LOVED it! I immediately accepted the drawings. I sent LUKINA my measurements and they started their process quickly. They scheduled appointments for fittings, which only took a few times and they were very friendly and efficient. As a special request I sent them my cowboy hat and they added the rhinestones seen in the pictures. At the end of it all, I got to wear the perfect dress for my birthday with special touches to my hat! I will certainly be ordering/designing custom outfits from this shop again.
