- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price each shoot based on the assignment, with straightforward starting rates for portraits, weddings, and events. Travel fees apply outside my normal service area. Good photography is an investment, and I price my work accordingly. If budget is a concern, I’m happy to adjust the scope rather than compromise the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start with my portfolio. If the work speaks to you, send me your date, location, timeline, and what you’re planning. From there, we’ll figure out the right coverage, lock everything in, and I’ll take care of the photography. Finished images are personally edited and delivered in a high-resolution online gallery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Design Studies from San José State University, with a background in animation, illustration, composition, and visual storytelling. That training directly informs how I use color, lighting, movement, and composition in my photography.
