FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I adhere to a yoga studio's private session pricing. However, if traveling to a client's home, I'm more flexible with my price quote and will work with a client if financial issues are to be taken under consideration. For first time clients I offer an option between 1) buy one session to get a second session (to be used within 14-days), or 2) 20% off 6-session or 8-session packages (to be used within 60-days or 90-days, respectively).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Allot about 5-10 minutes for filling out paperwork, questionnaire and discussion of daily rigor (e.g., sitting at desk, standing all day), habits & compulsions (e.g. smoking, drinking), and lifestyle choices (e.g. diet, activities), and create goals that work with the client not against them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education: Yoga Warriors, 2016, under Dharma Richards; 300-RYT under Jules Mitchell 2015; 200-RYT under Rudy Mettia, 2012; Prison Yoga Project, 2011, under James Fox; miniyogis, 2009 (& 2014), under Shana Meyerson. I recently completed teaching a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Redlands, California at Vasa the Studio where I taught others to be yoga teachers. I also teach a workshop called 'The ABCs of Sun Salutes' at different locations.
