We hired SIG Property Management to lease out our condo in Glendale. From the moment we met Mike Shaar and Monique Reneaux I knew we had the right company to get the job done. They were very nice and extremely professional. We were are on a tight schedule which I explained and they understood and worked within our schedule. They did a great job of advertising the unit and showing it. We had lots of prospective tenants. They were great at keeping in touch with us and letting us know what was going on from beginning to end. We got great tenants and all thanks to SIG Property Management. We highly recommend them for rental of units and property management. Mike Shaar and his staff went above and beyond and met all of our expectations.

Although I've only selected S.I.G. a short while ago, I'm very impressed with Mike Shaar's property management knowledge and that of his team. Kyle went to my rental during the first week after we signed the agreement, toured the rental and took photos. Mike and Kyle seem to have personalities that relate well to both the owner and tenants. They are a very professional organization and I'm looking forward to a long relationship.

Monique did an excellent job renting our house. She was able to quickly attract qualified candidates, and helped us through the selection process. She now manages our property with her team and has supported our tenant on any questions or issues.

I moved to Glendale, CA from out of state in 2011 and S.I.G. was the first and only property management company I needed to deal with. From the time I moved in, all throughout the four years I lived in my apartment, they were always very accommodating, but to be honest I rarely ever had to communicate with them. In my opinion, this is the best relationship you can have with a landlord! On the rare occasion(once, maybe twice in 4 years) that I did need help with something, they were always very easy to reach through phone or email and would send maintenance out the same day. I've since moved out of the area, but when I return, there's nobody else I would go to for a place to live than S.I.G. Thanks again S.I.G. and I hope to be back soon!

Michael and Monique were extremely helpful getting my house rented out while I am working overseas. With time change between London and Los Angeles, I felt they were good keeping me involved thru the entire process of finding tenants via emails. In the end, I ended up having three different, qualified tenants to choose from. I would, and have already recommended their services to another collegue of mine.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    For management and leasing services, our pricing is based on a few factors, including the size and make-up of the property and rental value. We offer competitive rates, and with the best management software and team available, we provide an excellent value. Management is often less expensive that most people think, and our relationship with vendors helps keeps incidental costs along the way down. Additionally, clients who hire us through Thumbtack get their first month of management services free!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First, we discuss what's important to the customer. What are they looking for, what do they need, and how can we best meet those needs? Once we find that we are a fit, the next step is to take a look at the property. We offer rental assessments as well as a management consultation so each customer will know what the process will entail. Then, after an exchange of information, we set up the customer with a dedicated Property Supervisor and we are usually ready to take on management or new leasing projects almost immediately.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    We are required to do continuing education to keep our license active. In addition, we do a lot of extra training and classes throughout each year. We also receive new information and keep up to date with the latest in property management through our affiliations with the AOA, AAGLA, NARPM, a number of Realtor Associations, local Chamber of Commerce organizations, and more.
