This was my first time with Lejan Mae, from the get go she was quick to respond back for booking my appointment and asking what my needs were for my hair. I told her I wanted a natural looking red on my hair and she by far exceeded my expectations people are always coming up to me to compliment my hair and they always think I’m a natural redhead which is what I was aiming for. I am very happy with the outcome and will continue to get my hair services with her, forgot to mention never once had any feeling of irritation or itchiness on my scalp which lets me know she uses very high quality products. She’s very sweet and engaging and made me feel very comfortable.

My entire family absolutely loved working with her. She was able to fit me in with a very short notice at her salon in La Jolla and then was kind enough to come to my home to cut my niece's (13yr) and my son's (2yr) hair. She does phenomenal work and is incredibly knowledgeable on hair, products, treatments, etc. which was a big help for my neices damaged hair! We will most definitely be using her moving forward!

Lejen Mae made me feel comfortable enough to trust her with my hair which for me at least is very difficult as I have had bad experiences with other hairstylist. I had pretty much decided that I would forever have my natural hair. I downloaded thumbtack to look for something else and out of curiosity started looking at hairstylist. After looking at her reviews I decided to contact her and I’m so glad that I did! She was very attentive from the beginning with quick responses and professionalism shining through conversation. She asked me to come in for a consultation so she could make sure that she could give me the hair that I was looking for. I’ve never experienced a hairstylist doing this and thought that this action took her a step above most. After the consultation she scheduled me in for the next day! My hair was very long and is very thick so Lejen was working on my hair for 7+ hours and all though it was way longer than even she expected not once did I feel as though she was rushing through. She was extremely thorough and precise and that showed in her work. I am very happy with how my hair came out and will always go to Lejen for my haircare needs because she is someone that is knowledgeable and trustworthy.
