Genna is the most professional and talented hairstylist and makeup artist I know. It is rare to find someone who is truly talented in all aspects of beauty (cut, color, style, makeup, nails, etc.) but Genna is one of them. Her attention to detail is incredible. My hair for my special occasion didn't fall out of place in the 8 hours that I had it up and my makeup looked natural but elegant the entire time. I've had other stylists and makeup artists who wanted my hair/makeup done the way that THEY thought it should be, but Genna actually cared about what I wanted and turned my vision into a reality. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do my hair or makeup - Genna is the best!

I recently saw a picture of a gorgeous hairstyle on Pinterest. I thought that I would really like to look just like that picture. The hair was darker in color and I've always had light brown hair. I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. I did know; however, that there was only one person that I knew who could pull off making me look like the picture. I walked into Genna's salon and felt relaxed immediately. I didn't really know what I was doing, so I told Genna that she could have her way with my hair. The time went by so quickly as we chatted and laughed. Within a short amount of time she was rinsing and styling my hair. In the end, Genna made me look better than the picture from Pinterest. My husband, who was extremely skeptical of my desired look, LOVED my hair! Thank you so much Genna!

I first used Genna for a special occasion where i wanted to get my hair styled and maekup done. She did such a great job!!! I showed her a few pictures of what I liked and she totally got it, went to work and it was EXACTLY what I had wanted. Same with the makeup, she used airbrush makeup and it looked so great and natura and both hair and makeup lasted all day without needing any touchups! She ended up also doing my Mom's hair and makeup for a ball she was going to a few months later and my mom loved her too! Since then I have started going to her for regular hair cuts and highlights and she does a great job with that too, really listens to what you are asking for and gives you exactly that! My work schedule is difficult and she is always willing to work with me. Not to mention she is a great person and so fun to chat with the whole time :) Thank you Genna!

Genna did my make up and hair for a special event and I normally don't like to get my make up done but she did a beautiful job. I got so many compliments from others and people who saw photos from my event were loving my look. She also does the best "Ombre" hair color. It looks better and better as it fades. Thanks Genna!

Genna has been coloring and cutting my hair for almost 2 years now. It has never been so beautiful, healthy and long, until Genna!!!. I am always SO pleased what she had done after my appointment. I also had the blessing for Genna to do my hair and make up for special occasions. I have never seen such talent in my life!!!! I fully recommended Genna!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always hated how other people did my hair and makeup so I decided to take matters into my own hands!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly do airbrushed makeup, tattoo coverage, updo's, hair extensions, hair coloring, haircuts, blowouts, keratin straightening treatments, conditioning treatments, ombre, gel manicures and waxing.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I wish people knew that you really do get what you pay for in this industry! Anyone can be a "hair and makeup artist" - but make sure you do your research and look for licensed professionals with tons of experience under their belt! It's important to know what you're getting yourself into!
